Established in 1961 by the Sisters of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus, Connelly is Orange County's only independent, college-preparatory Catholic high school for girls. As one of 10 Holy Child Schools in the United States, Connelly is part of the Holy Child Network of Schools, a national network of schools that offer an education with a distinctive spirit. The Holy Child Exchange Program offers Connelly's students the opportunity to spend part of their school year studying at other Holy Child schools in New York, Maryland, Ireland and England.

We are proud of Connelly's student body - a tapestry of socioeconomic and cultural diversity, reflecting the population of Southern California. Our 165 students represent a multitude of religious traditions from Orange, Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.

Classroom curriculum includes the daily use of iPads, SMART Boards in classrooms and state-of-the-art science and technology equipment. Teachers integrate iPads into daily lessons, demonstrations, reading, research and homework.

Cornelia Connelly School strives to create, through its small school environment and Christian tradition, an atmosphere conducive to the full development of young women capable of contributing to a changing world. Our attentive administration and faculty promote academic excellence, educate to social responsibility, and help students grow strong in faith and self-esteem. Connelly is a celebration of more than 50 years of excellence in education.

"I teach at Connelly because this school empowers its students to become strong, confident thinkers in a joyous and happy learning environment. I have a special privilege to see God every day in the faces and actions of my students."
Michael Ambrose,
Math teacher

"I feel privileged to go to a school where I know everyone there cares about me and supports me. Connelly has helped me grow in my faith and build my confidence. I could not have picked a better school for high school."
Raynee, Class of 2013

"I had a pretty remarkable experience at Connelly. I think it was the catalyst for my university acceptance. I owe the rest of my life decisions and career choice to that experience at Connelly."
