Dig it! Connelly collects volleyballs for troops
August 23, 2010

Elizabeth Lazzari '05 graduated in May 2009 from the United States Military Academy, West Point. She recently deployed from Fort Campbell, Kentucky to Afghanistan with 440 troops from the 101st Airborne Division. In yet another example of how Connelly alumnae mirror Mother Connelly's motto of "Actions Not Words," Liz is requesting the Connelly family's assistance in helping others. YOU can help...

Please help Cornelia Connelly School in its quest to gather volleyballs for Liz, our fellow alumna, and her troops.

YOU can help
You may drop off volleyballs and donations at Cornelia Connelly School. You may write a message on the volleyball, if you wish.
We will mail the volleyballs to Liz on September 15.
For more information, please contact Cerise Metzger, Communications & Alumnae Relations Coordinator at cmetzger@connellyhs.org.

Liz wrote an inspiring letter. We've posted it on our Web site and are eager to share it with the Connelly community. Click here to read Liz's letter.

"I had a pretty remarkable experience at Connelly. I think it was the catalyst for my university acceptance. I owe the rest of my life decisions and career choice to that experience at Connelly."
