Connelly Students Participate in Anaheim Youth in Government Day
April 1, 2009

Connelly students participated in the City of Anaheim's annual Youth in Government Day on Wednesday, April 1.  City of Anaheim officials are matched with students from Anaheim high schools to give students hands-on experience in municipal government and the role it plays in daily life.  (L-R) Freshman Valerie Alcaraz served as a Deputy Chief of Police in the Anaheim Police Department;  Raisa Rodriguez '11, worked in the Anaheim Planning Department; Stella Kim '10, Jorene Kalaw '09, Ranielle Rodriguez '09, and Emilee Avzaradel '09 shadowed at the Anaheim Convention Center.  Senior Ranielle Rodriguez was nominated for the Youth of the Year Award.
