A Wish Comes True
March 30, 2009

On Monday, March 30, the Make a Wish Club at Connelly was presented with a plaque by the Orange County & Inland Empire Chapter of Make a Wish Foundation for raising the amount required to grant a wish to a child who is confronting a life-threatening medical condition.  Madison F., age 7, "wished to have annual passes to Disneyland for her and her family."  At her wish party, in addition to premium annual passes for her family to Disneyland, Madison was showered with gifts to make her wish experience even better.  She and her family shared lots of laughs and smiles.

Connelly's active Make a Wish Club began raising the $4,000 needed for a wish three years ago. Through dances, gift wrap sales, flower sales, jewelry sales and a DJ at lunch event, they achieved their goal in January, 2009.
